bit mad that he's been in his best form all season by absolutely miles and doesn't get called up, when he got called up every time whilst in poor form . Not really convinced Tommy has been watching many games by his selections. Just seems very vibes-based so far.

I think our jump was fuelled by the ability to spend almost 3 prior seasons of net zero outlay to bring in the stars that we have - Bruno, Isak, Botman, Tonali, Hall, Livramento were all big money signings in view of PSR.

 

Now, we can only spend £35m per season beyond our income, plus player sales, not accounting for year on year losses that we already have in the bag. I don't think we have the PSR headroom to not sell if the right deal comes along.

 

I hope I'm wrong but I just don't see the sustainability with continuing a strategy that was fuelled by using all our PSR headroom in the first 18 months of ownership.

Tuchel has said he wants certain players, Tino included, to attack the under 21 tournament.

Might be taken as softening the blow but at face value it's a compliment and a challenge to that group a year ahead of the world cup. 

Gordon (and Gibbs-White, amongst others) came on loads after a positive age-group tournament in 2023. Never looked back even. Tino has time on his side

Tino is one that ‘got it‘ from the start. He’s not petulant. No huffs. He gets on and gives his best every game.  I don’t know why it took so long but he’s a full Howe player and don’t want to see him go. If he must it needs to be for £80m+

Would keep Tino and move on Murphy if we needed the dough

City have to get back to splashing the cash if they want to keep dominating. Pay the big bucks or fuck off.

Oscar Bobb and O’Rielly would be even better imo
