Trippier has been poor, don't think anyone is denying that.

Telling the whole team to hang their heads in shame after a first defeat in 10 with the injuries we've had? In our first ever CL campaign? Embarassing.

You know whats embaressing, pub levels of letting them easily counter us cause we leave a 21 year old to deal with two players on a break.

Get your point completely, but Isak went off early and we hit the bar twice, think they got very fortunate tbh

Isak is a miss but we still lose that game and this without him. We've hit the bar twice in the last minute of the game, it's not like we were banging the door down for 90mins.

Be almost a relief to be out of Europe. We have neither the tactical nous or the squad depth to compete property. Would have been better off in Europa League.

Fucking hell, alright Pards.

Don’t really have an issue with how we’re set up, yes it was a high risk but that was almost all on Trippier’s delivery. No one should ever be hitting the first man, but certainly not when we’ve got everyone forward. Shocking, his head just hasn’t been there tonight

Yeah, exactly. We were going for a key goal.

Why Trippier cannot beat the first man is beyond me. Time and time again.

He has been infuriating.

100% disagree. Dortmund have played us perfectly. We've had next to nothing and that's because they've done their jobs and we've not had an answer to them.

Agree completely. They've done it home and away as well. The most impressive team we;ve played all season in England and in Europe.

Just felt it, cannot explain lol

I love Tripps, but he played his worst game tonight. He’s been awful and needs a break. He’s mentally fatigued you can see it in his choices.

Last few games he's been awful

We have not been poor the second half... We just needed to finish a couple of the chances and then hang on.

Invaluable lessons learned for future seasons

Exact same thing in the home fixture though and we didn't learn that lesson.

These two games against Dortmund have been near enough identical other than the fact they've scored 2 in this one.

It’s surprising how long he takes to deliver a piss poor cross.  I’ve seen fly halves take less time to kick 40 yard pens

Dortmund definitely have our number. Whatever it is we need to do to effectively cope with them we either lack the specific personnel types (likely) or managerial nous (less likely, still possible) to do so.

I take some small comfort in the fact we're a work in progress without great quality in depth and also legitimately plagued by injuries at the moment.

You don't know anything about tactics, based on this statement. Ridiculous.
