No point whatsoever trying to press them high up, they are bypassing us and we are racking up dead KMs that we can’t afford. Get compact behind the ball and save the legs for the counter.

Seems like our defenders are a bit frustrated with the options/availability of passes to the midfield. Lascelles, Schar & Trippier have made some gestures up the field after losing the ball to Spurs press.

 

Spurs doing a good job at marking our passing options or our players maybe not putting in the effort necessary to make themselves available.
