People were slagging Burn off when I came in the thread. He's been fucking mint.

I thought he was honking apart from the goal like.

Even the missed chance from Cairney at the end was from Tosin getting in behind him.

Glad we won. Frustrating at times as we have flaws with centre midfield balance and no way to change it. The reluctance to bring in Hall and other youth players when 2 up and close to or in extra time seems very weird. We have a game in a few days and we still aren't using what we have in game already won.

We desperately need to have a balanced midfield to start controlling games. Horrible watching us camped in our half and can barely string 4 passes together against the likes of Fulham.

Did make some slide tackles though.

Away win, clean sheet, goals for the Geordie boys, fifth round of the cup, big clubs falling, players returning from injury, Trippier staying...

All ruined by Hall not featuring in injury time. :(

Justice for the Mark Crossley match.

I've seen us play 10x better against worse teams and lose. The beauty and the chaos of football.

Our fans sounded great tonight.

I Remember when 1/2 of this place wanted Cairney.  Dodged bullet.

In 2017 to get us out of the Championship?

Bit harsh to judge him in 2024 aged 33

They haven’t dealt with everything - not even close to it.  Fulham has been shite in dangerous positions, but they’ve had plenty of openings

I disagree, despite us being poor they created almost nowt.

You'll always get in behind him but we prepare for that with our CBs. He was bodychecking all over the shop and made sure crosses from the left went nowhere. And scored. Great performance.

Poor performance but a good result. Managed the game well after the second goal. Hopefully will give us some confidence going into Villa.

Yeah, Fulham were disastrously poor in the final third.

Glad we improved after our second - heads went up, the passing started to come off (though I suspect Fulham’s press basically stopping after the second helped)

Don't mind and am not self-conscious about bludgeoning a win. How many times do others do it and how many times has it been done to us?

Its not a one-off by any stretch, were right off the boil, slopping lazy passing even at the end there with the game won where we were lethal before.

Forgetable game.

Good noise and song sheet from the away fans tonight.
