Sounds promising to me, even gives credit to the work that was done before him. Pints for PSR was just a small joke here. I thought it was funny tbh, maybe that's just me.

That's all a faithful report, but fyi they've edited various answers together and chopped bits out to make it more readable. Nothing wrong with any of it though

What was weird in those quotes? The only thing I can see someone finding weird was the joke he made, but not everyone will like the same joke.

Just think the way he speaks is weird. Doesn’t seem to think or choose his words, nervously bleats and makes needlessly odd comments. See for example the bit about holding hands with Howe or increasing transfer funds by drinking a lot. These aren’t the comments of somebody comfortable in the habitat in which they find themselves.

it’s just an opinion.

I think the media has some blame in that. Fans trying to turn him into a villain also won't make him more comfortable. Sure, he shouldn't really care about it all, but I don't he's really letting it affect his work. I can agree that maybe he could've done some things different in that first interview to calm down some of the noise, though.

Video of it if anyone's interested.

Nice to hear.

Nothing wrong with that at all.

Actually really good seeing the video of this. Think it's actually encouraging.

The fact he is comfortable making light of the talk of tension between them is a good sign I think.

Really excited about them both working well together going forward.

Let’s be honest, regardless

of the whole Guehi shambles, he was correct in the summer. The transfer business has been nowhere near good enough after the first window and Isak/Gordon.

That's true I agree, and we wonder why our players look half hearted. Imagine what they are seeing.

3 years of looking and still can't find a bit of grass for a new training ground.

Aye its pretty frustrating, I think we lack leadership across the club tbh and that stems from the Saudis seemingly being very distant owners.

To properly see it at least two of Isak, Bruno and Gordon will have to go I fear

We have no choice now, we've blown it. We need to sit down and work out what we are doing and implement it from top to bottom.

I love Eddie but if he's not with the program then it's time to say bye. That wave we rode is gone and we need a sustainable plan.

Bruno might go in January if Man City come in for him

At this point, we might just need to take that on the chin and do it for the best of the club. But I do not want Howe to decide what we use that money on.
