All barbers in England getting bricked if the Turks beat us on Wednesday

Fueled by kebab and pizza from the Turkish ran takeaway.

Bloody immigration.

I really like that guy playing up front for Turkey, Yilmaz.

He is incredibly strong, fast and hard working.

Causes a hell of a lot of problems for defenders.

Works his ass off tbf to him but dreadful when he has to shoot or pass.

Got Mitrovic vibes

A lot more dynamic and quicker than Mitro.

Absolutely love his energy man. He is a nightmare to play against.

Looks like he's actually more of a right winger at club level.

The energy and determination Turkey are playing with is impressive.

Ferdi Kadioglu looks quality on the break, like the way Yilmaz puts everything into it, really gritty player.

They want this.

I agree.

Best and most widely spoken language, turn up anywhere in the world and there’ll be at least one local who understands you.

UK more northernly than most of the USA, same latitude as Northern Canada from memory but far milder weather. Thank you Gulfstream.

English being the most widely spoken language is probably more to do with America than England tbh

Yeah, I remember him making some poor decisions in the final third.

The work he gets through upfront is unreal though, so wonder if that maybe affects him in those moments.

Think he's been fantastic for them.

Probably got a stupid price tag on him now.

Plays the role perfectly for them.

I don't understand why the Netherlands persist with Memphis up top.

Think he's been embarrassing this game so far.

We wouldn't be able to handle this Turkey intensity if they face us, we'd need to rely on their mistakes, Southgate couldn't set us up to deal with the pressure they bring.

Not sure if it's a today thing for them, but early on in the groups one of Turkeys matches was the standout game,

they're looking good here.

I know that these conversations aren’t serious, but the Indian subcontinent has English as a lingua Franca not because they really want to understand the new Tom Cruise film without subtitles

Also, the US does have English as a language because of the British being there

Turkish left back is quality

Yes I agree, mentioned him further up, looked him up on flashscores Ferdi Kadioglu of Fenerbache, been class on the break.

No offence but watching this in a pub away from the negativity of this thread did wonders for the experience

Better performance, still very stodgy in attack but positive signs against the best team we've played yet. And 5 perfect penalties - these young lads don't wilt at the mere thought of a shootout which is huge really.

🤔 Better having had a skinful? Yeah sounds fair enough
