No one thinks it is. It's not PSG bad, but it's not far off

Think it was worse than PSG.

His effort when the Dutch hit the cross bar was hilarious [emoji38]

Genuinely looked like me when I was in for heads and volleys - slowly and gormlessly trying to get near the ball before just stumbling over

Who cares

I mean, I do care quite a bit. I'd probably be less depressed about it if it were in Newcastle's favour mind, but it's as "game's gone" as it gets.

Losers mentality that. Something that plagues our club's fanbase rotten.

Ian Wright does!

Definitely a striker vs defender split on this.

As a former defender I am horrified by that decision.

That's never a penalty  Ian Wright's homerism is off the charts

It would arguably be a free kick anywhere else on the pitch. It just would never normally be given as a pen.

It's the mentality of someone incredibly worried about the state of the game in the VAR world.

Look at all those fuckers on their phones during the penalty. WATCH THE EVENT YOU SAD FUCKS. No-one cares about your shitty phone footage. Professional camera operators with far better equipmant have filmed it. God I hate smart phones.

And the irony is that they’d actually have footage of themselves during the penalty - they were captured on TV.  So the egomaniacal wankers could’ve watched their own reaction and told anyone who’d listen ‘there look - that’s me!’

Instead they just look Fannie’s with their camera phones

Ian Wright thinks people who turn down international duty should ring up the families of dead soldiers and tell them why.

I really like him and I take the point, but when it comes to England he's about as biased as we've got.

God, ITV is just the absolute pits with the adverts and bullshit. Ugh

Nothing like a tacky competition to ruin the sense of occasion.

ITV has a unique ability to recruit the most gammonesque pundits. Wonder how Merson has never ended up there.
