This has to be the most underwhelming window since the Lee Bowyer one. if we sign this kid. We’d have signed 3 players and all 3 we were the only side in for them. I think and no disrespect to anyone if you were told at start of window we’d sign Wissa, Ramsdale, Elanga & thaiw the fanbase would be largely underwhelmed and disappointed. WilliamPS Posted August 5, 2025 Share Posted August 5, 2025 I don’t know much about him, but remember Burn, Lascelles and Schar all need replacing over the next 2 years, so there’ll need to be a new CB next summer too. Ideally the starting RCB joins this summer, but it’s not a disaster if Thiaw joins and ends up being 3rd in the pecking order - either for him as he will get games or for the club.
