People must have erased Schär's 24/25 season out of their minds, he was dropping clangers left and right and I love him.

I'm glad someone said it. You'd think no other centre backs make any mistakes [emoji38]

Funnily enough I watched the Gala vs Liverpool game beforehand yesterday. The absolute state of Van Dijk and Konate that game man. My God [emoji38]

Honestly glad it was said. I hate that we often ask our players to be 100% perfect every game. Players make mistakes or just get done over and it be just football. It happens.

Yup, tonight again both Man City and Chelsea centre backs were dealt with something rotten.

In particular Guehi got done by Valverde with a lovely touch for his third and Fofana was turned back and forth by Dembele for his goal.

Worrying I’m agreeing with a lot of Kaka posts these days. Cognitive decline or assent…I’m not sure which to angle it at.

If this lad (who has been fucking immense all season) is getting pelters for that one moment we absolutely do not deserve the team we have and the moments we're being given. Are we ok?

Agreed.

I think people have favourites and then they turn on them. So they ignore mistakes when they like em, then all of a sudden they’re mistake ridden or bad or whatever.

Thiaw is a good defender that has the odd absolute howler in him. We knew that when he signed. Considering the amount of minutes he’s played, he’s been great on the whole. Tuesday was a mistake but also class play by Olmo.

If he plays on Saturday then he won't have had any food or drink for about 12 hours by the time kick off arrives, due to Ramadan. Might not even be able to have anything at half time depending on whether it's dark or not.

17:30 is the worst possible kick off time for a Muslim.

Would be typical of the premier league to change the sunset time to benefit Chelsea.

We don't know if he's definitely fasting, it opens 6:15 tomorrow so if he is then at half time he'll be able to drink/eat

Who was it who was saying he was shite?

I’m tempted to quote some of the garbage that was spouted about the poor guy after the Barca game, but I get most of it was ‘in the heat of the moment’.

Superb, makes the odd error aye, but then you forget just how young he is. Fantastic player now, and for the future.

Aye, he's so young and had a cracking first season in a new country and new league.

This guy has saved so many goals and dangerous situations as the last line of defence, not to mention the goals he's scored as well.

Compared to these errors that keep getting talked about that are typical of most defenders, there is just no comparison

Said it a few weeks ago but any player who has played the number of minutes he has without a rest, in a side that has been poor defensively, will always make an error or two.

He was a complete monster today and has been for most of the season.

This is not a reply to anyone in particular. But why do some always have the urge to be negative? Nobody else is...so why try and change the mood? Is it just as an excuse to have a go at people? Every time something good happens...there's always a group/mentality who want to have a go at other supporters.

The irony of these constant downers calling out past negativity.

"What a great performance, but URRGGH, remember when someone moaned?"
