So teams in Europe can't face each other..?

Correct, to help ease the top teams fixture congestion they made it easier for them to... erm... play more games

WTF is this bollocks?

You are lying yeah?

Nope, all true. And complete and utter bollocks, that they think us fans of the not greedy clubs will swallow it.

What is the reason for the European teams avoiding the second round by the way when the European competitions don't start for another month? Skipping a round was one thing but seeding them so they can't meet another one of the top teams, and also giving 4 of them home ties by default is a real kick in the teeth to the lesser teams and non Premier League teams who really try for the League Cup at this stage. They're sucking the enthusiasm out of the only teams and fans who care about the thing protecting the top clubs like this.

What time is the draw? Something stupid like 11?

Nearly, just until they mark the balls so the shitty six get nice lovely draws.

So after telling us how we can and can’t spend our own money. Forcing us to sell homegrown players. Now they’re deciding that they don’t have to play the really good teams and also they get to play the game where they want. What the fuck is the point. Rip the rules up and start again. Football has jumped several very sizeable fat sharks.

Soon, but Sky Sports soon. So half 1 in the morning, and after every gambling company has had 30 seconds of air time.

Takes a bit of time to ring around the cartel clubs and ask for their preferred draw

Shouldn’t matter. Just play the games on the week they don’t fucking play.

im not defending it, but if Arsenal play in week 1 and Liverpool week 2 and they draw each other where do they fit the game in?

as I said, id have banned them from the competition if the rules had to be changed to accommodate them

None of the European teams can get each other and the first four out of the pot get home ties.

Couldn’t care less. Let them fuck each other up the arse as far as I’m concerned.

Cunts.

There's absolutely no excuse to allow them to avoid each other, only schedule the calender to avoid clashing with expanded CL. I can only think the cup sponsors want to keep the cartel clubs sweet, and the more of them in the semi finals onwards the better. They'll hardly want a West Ham or even us in the final.

Play it when the next round is due.

You miss out on a weeks worth of prep time, so fuck.

Don’t like the rules about being in it, then play your proper youth team and go out, or just forfeit in anyway.

Who the fuck signed off on these new rules? Did lower league teams, for example, even get a say in it, or was it a case of like it or lump it from the corrupt six?

More benefit for them I guess as more chance of a big draw?

Most lower league clubs were probably in favour. Manage to get to this round and you have 6 chances of getting a big team.
