Anthony Elanga: NUFC have bid of £45m rejected (Ornstein)

Fair play.

Looks like they're looking to keep their best players and try and continue to challenge for European places too.

Glad that Graeme Bailey has not been right about a single thing in his journalistic career.

The “journalist” has probably guessed right this time though. He wouldn’t know either way.

Aye non starter this one

Means jackshit tbh. Obviously they will quote a ridiculously high price to start with. We'll counter with a realistic fee which might get the deal done. A lot depends on if Elanga wants to be here.

Personally I find it ourageous that clubs don't want to sell us their best players cheaply.

Clubs want a premium for their players. Which is understandable but in this PSR world. Most clubs need to box clever and can't really afford to splash the cash.

All to protect the Sky 6. Hopefully City win their next APT case

I know this is tongue in cheek, but could easily be lifted from an Arsenal or Liverpool forum as a serious comment.

Would Elanga even unseat Murphy in his current form? I never liked the idea to begin with.

There aren't many players who would in current form.

Aye , Value £60m

Pay him peanuts

Need to give him £100k if they value him that much

We are going to have to increase Isaks wage accordingly if we want him to stay

No loyalty in football when that extra £££ is offered

Fair enough asking price from Forest. We'd expect ourselves to do the same if a club came in for one of our best players.

You can't really expect to pay a 'fair' price for a star player from a team that doesn't want/have to sell.
