That's why Howe hasn't been starting him imo. For all he's looked decent off the bench, the fundamentals that Howe demands from players aren't there yet.

He doesn't have the footballing ability to play for a top side.

There’s nothing there to suggest that hidden talents are under the surface.  There isn’t a single basic of the game that the lad seems to have a handle on.  Forget next season - we should do what we can to get him off the books and take the loss.

 we were dogshit so it was as mostly just funny how utterly hopeless Obertan was

Obertan was an alien inexplicably playing football instead of invading but he could beat the first man on a cross.

We lost all forward momentum and pace in behind that was actually scaring them when he and Gordon went off for Murphy/Osula for the last 15 minutes. Might as well have put up the white flag at that point. But it's criminal the lack output at the moment given what we spent.

I'll back Howe on that one. He's performed bigger transformations than Elanga.

I wanna meet the philosopher's stone that can turn this turd into gold.

I would add, I think once the FA Cup run is over, and were out/won the champions league and we finally go to 1 game a week, Eddie will have the time in training to start improving Elanga, I hope :)

But twice times the wages and wouldn't have signed for us so a bit irrelevant.

Why wouldn’t he sign for us if he went to Bournemouth?

We basically just have to hope that he remembers how to play well again. Stuck with him unless we’re prepared take a big loss.

It's crazy how the financial side of this sport is set up.
