Seems like if he does ultimately end up failing here, it won’t be due to lack effort and/or professionalism:

Talking about his bairn;

”Bringing Blair into this world and raising her here, it's probably the best feeling ever," he said.

"She's a little Geordie who's going to be raised in Newcastle. She's going to have the accent as well, which is nice.

"I just can't wait for her to be walking around and touching the football, hearing her talk, having her integrate with other kids here in Newcastle. It's hard to describe. I wouldn't change that feeling for the world.”

For the love of God please come good. Fucking adore the lad. :lol:

Watching the Spurs highlights again and noticed two stand out, individual, differences in performance.

Firstly, Willock's first effort from the Referee allowing play to carry on after a foul on Ramsey? He could've passed out wide to Tripps but took the shot?

Just before that, when he received the ball and had slowed right down, Xavi Simons was jogging back to him then, literally, slowed down to fuck all. If I was a Spurs fan I'd be raging.

More importantly, and back to our Ant E, when Ramsey scores the winner? Watch the build up again when Ant G is on the ball. Elanga is way over on the right. On his own basically.

When Ramsey scores Elanga just fucking veers off to our fans and has a celebration with them 😂 Tickled me and he's obviously overjoyed.

Could still use a bit of coaching to get his head up and get a bit more awareness of who's around him.

The bar is still extremely low. Got his goal wich was important, and some positive games lately. Long way to go..

Really annoyed me when he fell over, as I just don't get how that's even possible on a premier league pitch, if you've have proper studs on, but other than that looked bright again, and just like the other summer signings (Wissa aside) we are really starting to see what they can really do

That was infuriating, but what augurs well for the future was that he dusted himself down, got up and got on with it. He didn't let his head go down like in previous games and he was playing with a smile on his face.

Dubravka did it at home to Bournemouth the other season that cost us a goal. It happens, PL pitch or not.

I noticed there was a few of our players setting there neck on the pitch today Ramsey for one couldn't get his footing. Must have drenched the pitch before kick off.
