KWP on a free but for above market value wages is a very West Hammish signing

Kwp has pace so I don't see it doing our squad any harm with all the games we have this season.

I agree with you, I just think he'll end up at West Ham as they'll be able to throw the bag at him and guarantee him 1st football. But yeah, it'd 100% be a sensible signing for us. STM Posted Thursday at 08:16 Share Posted Thursday at 08:16 The only way this deal happens is if Forest see the writing on the wall. Elanga's camp need to be clear on his desires.

Sibierski Posted Thursday at 08:43 Share Posted Thursday at 08:43 You’d assume if we did make a concentrated effort last season to sign him, Elanga would’ve informed agent he’d want to move next summer if deal was there again (and things like us in UCL happened). Very much doubt we’d have gone back in if the message wasn’t there he wants to join. It just ends in Guehi situation where player may want it, but club doesn’t. Considering we both helped each out last summer and had exceptional seasons on the back of it (where it could’ve been different), there should be some good will in the negotiations to get it done quick. Of course he wants to join but he has 3 more years left on his desk with forest and seems keen to keep him. So is Elanga willing to request a transfer and forego both his reputation and his loyalty bonus. This also wouldn't guarantee anything. Not much difference in our position with Isak if we are being honest.
BennyBlanco Posted Thursday at 08:51 Share Posted Thursday at 08:51 I think the stunt on instagram in the toon shirt was a bit of a giveaway. I’m warming to this. Can see him and Isak linking up well, it’s definitely an improvement in that position, right age, fast as fuck, can shoot with both feet and is coming off the back of a great season with Forest. These days clubs very rarely keep a player against their will. It will either be that he signs for us or gets an enormous wage hike.... which might create a new set of problems for Forest. McCormick Posted Thursday at 09:20 Share Posted Thursday at 09:20 (edited) He’s as good as Semenyo who’ll go for similar, if not more. Plus, don’t Man Utd have a 50% claim on any profit made on the deal? Would suggest that they’d need more to cover for that.
