Want to see Bruno and Tonali dominate in this game, both are levels above anything Brighton can put out imo. Then need the rest of the team to step up with them.

Also start Alexander. If he looks good in training, get him in the XI and Gordon back out wide.

Aye feel like we haven’t seen the expected Joe-Bruno-Tonali dominance. Really want to see them Alpha these today

Always expect a slog against these, even though a couple times its not been that way. Started off with two absolute breezes too.  Think those Pardew cup ties is what done it for me

Got a nasty run of games coming up, so crucial we win today. Perform like we did against City and we win, perform as we have pretty much every over game and Brighton do us over. Today will tell us a lot of what we can expect this season.

Miley has arrived with the squad. So assuming we have a bench today of Dubs, Kelly, Krafth, Willock, Longstaff, Miley, Murphy, Almiron and Osula. That's got to be our strongest bench in a long time!

Any uncertainty in the squad about Howe leaving for England resolved, Gordon supposedly agreeing a new long-term deal, Isak back from injury, back at home after a good away performance. We're getting 3 points today.

Murphy over Barnes

Had to be, with Gordon on the left. If Isak tires or breaks down, there's the option of Gordon in the middle and Barnes on to replace him at LW. Gordon isn't convincing at RW.
