Paqueta has been a shadow of his usual self this season

Probably because he knows that soon he'll not be able to kick his ban down the road much further, and will never play again.

Can’t get that mental image of Leon Best destroying these out of my head.

Every so often a name appears that reminds me of how much time has passed supporting this football club.

What a strange concept and image that all associated with West Ham line up and have sexual intercourse with James Corden, one after the other.

I don't make the rules

Can someone generate an AI image for this?

Had my ST up in L7 that season. I remember there was the most aggro bloke in the world in my row. Always saying abhorrent shit about refs. Arguing with the away fans to the brink combusting.

Anyway, Start of the game “may as well play with 10 instead of starting Leon Best. Shite.”

After his hat trick, without a hint of irony, turned to his mate and said “Well I’ve always said that Besty’s a great player.” Then started waxing lyrical about what made him so good

I don’t know why, but i seem to recall being shit scared of that match and worried that Best playing meant we were going to be turbo. We were ruthless that day and i thought his finishes were absolutely class.

Having listened to various West Ham previews it seems their main concern is in midfield and defence. A fairly pedestrian midfield which will struggle against our power and athleticism and a pretty porous defence against Isak.

If we start well I think we’ll be fine but with Isak in form and recent confidence from wins we should have enough against them.

They might have a pedestrian midfield but they've got plenty of attacking pace and guile to exploit the counter

Which is exactly why you can never take anything for granted. Bowen is a match winner on his day.

Kudus as well, although he doesn't seem to be flourishing under Lopetegui
