Crystal Palace vs. Newcastle United - 30/11/2024 @ 1500 (No UK TV)

Never look forward to this fixture, always feel like we play shit down there. They played decent at Villa, apparently, and we're in a huge downward spiral after the West Ham game. Isak off form, Bruno shit, Wilson on life support after running. I do worry

Villa had so many chances to win that game, including a missed penalty. It’s not an easy game but I would be disappointed if we don’t win.

I would be, too. Hopefully we get back on track after Monday

I feel like we need a setback to play our best sometimes, which hopefully is what West Ham provided. Can’t be anything other than a top performance and a win.

Every time we drop points to a bottom half side we need to beat a top half side to make up the difference. Palace aren't a top half side but with Liverpool up next we need to win this one.

Got to think Liverpool will be a little bit fatigued after the City game.

We had two weeks rest before playing West Ham and Eddie was saying we had a good week's training to back it up, then we got beat 2-0. I don't really put too much stock in the idea that teams are fatigued by Europe. Especially teams like Liverpool who can probably put out two teams which are worth more than our first team. I don't know how many games we've lost to Liverpool in Howe's time here but it feels like just about all of them.

They are playing with many of the same players PL and Europe.

Gotta be winning these sort of games if we're to make any sort of challenge on European spots. Especially after last week's slip. Be good to shove that wanker Parish deeper into the mud as well.
