I don't get paid to find manager from obscure leagues or from other teams, look at what Liverpool did with plucking that bald guy from a under-par league as most people would call it. Thats what we hired a sporting director to do. To find someone that can follow a philosophy that he sets. You asked me to reply and after I actually give you the thoughts you default to some weird five year old throwing a tantrum, its honestly baffeling. Whatever floats your boat mate. TRon
2 minutes ago, KaKa said: Personally, I'm at the point I don't trust anyone in front of the back four other than Tonali. Against Liverpool he killed a number of breaks in transition they had and was just far more convincing there defensively, as he gets back the quickest. Not to say he's perfect, but he's our best bet. Today was just like West Ham, we looked great going forward but we got sucker punched by the other team, as we were unconvincing getting back defensively when we needed to. Tonali was then thrown on late with a number of other players to chase the game, and the shape was completely lost and the play became disjointed. And so at that point it all looked rubbish and it's difficult to assess performances from that point onwards. Agree. Our substitutions look like panic more than anything else over the last few games. It just ends up in chaos.
joeyt
Just so many on field changes with our subs. Gordon comes on means Barnes has to move. Tonali comes on and Bruno moves. Trippier comes on and Tino has to move. Just feels so disjointed
Kid Icarus
I get that it's part of Brentford's style of play, but it really is becoming a bit of a pattern that teams take what little chances they have against us. That's Everton, Brighton, Chelsea, West Ham, Man City and now Brentford where we've dropped points despite their xG against us being below ours, not a good sign. I hope you're wrong. Hall is still raw and making errors, but he's also rapidly getting better. His forward play is lightyears ahead of Burn at LB. Without Trippier on right then Hall is next vest creative passer from a full back. Signing a quality CB and right winger would make a huge difference with Botman back too. I'd like think Hall and Tino is first choice full backs now.

And the excuse for this is “he was tired”, when Howe played a supposed injured Longstaff every single week last season. Longstaff is Howe’s boogeyman. buzza
The problem Sandro had was that he was broight on to help us get a goal or two back i.e. all out attack. He was not really there to act as a defensive pivot... Their third goal killed us, our defending of a deep free kick was pathetic. Their fourth goal was some crsip passing and our players far too far up the pitch trying to get a goal. First half looked like we would win it, but we made a couple of mistakes. Second half they played some nice one touch football against our dilly dallying on passes and slow approach. They deserved the win!
Ronaldo
Has anyone mentioned Almiron’s cameo btw? Fucking hilarious. The bright point of the day seeing him parody a professional footballer.
LFEE
Thought we played well first half and were the better team. Second half seemed a bit of a mess with the subs not helping at all except maybe Wilson. No disgrace in losing away to the best home team this season. Third goal killed us which despite what EH said I did feel was weather contributed. It shows we aren’t at the stage where we can rotate unnecessarily. Bunce’s input may have us all looking a bit silly when it comes to final third of the season but as it stands last season’s approach of playing until burnt out completely looking like it suits us better. Ultimately if Joelinton plays well (our only outfield ever present?) we play well. Today he looked knackered after half an hour.

Rafalove
You can’t fault Miggy’s work rate and effort but i don’t understand how a footballer can be that one footed. It affects everything he does.

Kind of galling to watch players like Madueke and Mbuemo come from relative obscurity and look so much better in the last couple of years. Meanwhile he seems to have been around forever and we'd probably have to give him away now.
