Anyone have a guess at the likely Arsenal line up for this?

From our perspective, it will either be Longstaff for Bruno or it will be an entire change of system... 541 with Trippier coming in at RCB IMO.

Good shout was thinking this yesterday, can thread an intricate pass unlike Longstaff and might just be suited to the advanced role.

Not to shit on Longstaff, but there was a moment during the Spurs game where an option to pass it inside which Bruno or Tonali would have made ended up back on the half way line eventually.

I’m sure he gave the ball away on the edge of their area and they had a dangerous break away towards the end.

I’ve got nowt against the lad think he’s been a great servant, but it’s been night and day since he was dropped.

Might be the moment I’m thinking of tbh.

It was if it was the one I’m thinking of. We had a chance to retain possession or even create a chance. But the pass inside was sloppy and set them on an attack.

Feels a bit harsh singling him out for one crap pass. But it’s how long he takes to do things and process what his next move is that frustrates me. It is the same with Murphy. The difference between the full internationals (Gordon does it too, mind) and squad players. Said squad players who have done really well here, it must be said.

would try and keep the same team for this minus Bruno obviously. It's a huge opportunity especially now given Arsenal's injuries.

Agreed that it's a huge opportunity, but just hesitant about whether Botman should play two high intensity games in three days.

"Honestly Newcastle are just a horrible match up for us. If you asked chatGPT to build the perfect team just to **** us over and accomplish nothing else it would look a lot like them. Brutish in midfield, solid at fullback, rapid on the counter

"Worried we might have to take our medicine but honestly idc that much about the Carabao I’m sorry"

The thing is as well as being a nightmare to play against its the quality of players.

This isn't like playing a Stoke back in the day who would often out muscle us.

They played in the Champions league last season.

I would be more than happy to have a lot of their team in our squad"

it's so fucking dumb whoever decided 2 yellows merits a suspension especially when the team being punished has played more games

Which we’ll take advantage of next season with European football

European qualifying teams have skipped a round for quite some time now.

Was two this year though wasn't it, as in 1 additional to most the PL.
