Why would you risk overplaying the only striker in a ridiculously busy period, who has been susceptible to injury when over played, after he's got his hat trick, and your 4-0 up?

 

 

I'd have brought him off even if we didn't have a sub to replace him.

 

Edit: Osula would have made sense, but maybe Gordon is the next sub anyway.

If I was Osula I'd feel well within my rights to say 'why not bring me on'. Yes Howe might be protecting him but it must be so frustrating for the lad and not do his morale or self confidence any good at all 

 

It's all well 'protecting' his development on one hand, but clattering the lads confidence on the other. Just doesn't make sense.
