I'm glad we've tightened up our defending the last 4-5 weeks, fantastic to see Botman back, and some nice shithousing at the end. Great result.

I wish we would have tried to push the team higher and pressing higher to kill the game instead of playing to Tottenhams strenghts all of the second half though.

Pressing high is exactly what Spurs wants.

Spurs hard done by according to Ange. All things being equal they would have won. Obviously doesn't do stats either.

I mean i do have sympathy with their injury list, and they played better than i expected actually which shows some credit, unfortunately they are really blunt. He is speaking bollocks ofc about the particular game, but this is not the man u game where the players looked confused and basically gifted the game to us.

They weren't hard done by, i thought a draw was a fair result tbh.

But each website gives a different a xG, this is why it's an awful stat to post about.

Thought Spurs got away with a lot more than we did. Certainly the ref gave us more cards for the same level of tackle/foul, just pleased we won though. Was particularly nice to see that we were able to hold on for the result, interesting to hear we have the 4th best defense in the league too (though the recent run of results must have helped that massively!).

Porto’s pull back on Gordon being one.

Pretty poor performance bar half an hour in the first half. But it keeps the run going and if someone suggested back to back wins at Old Trafford and Spurs, only 3-4 weeks ago you would have thought it unlikely.

It's so good to be able to grind out wins still, even when not at our best.

Often see the better teams do it, and so it's good to see this team add that to their repertoire too.

Really need to start to become more ruthless though.

We seem to become so much more casual the easier teams make things for us, which is really annoying.

Have to punish teams more when we're on top. Instead of allowing them to build confidence and come back into it.

Spurs deserved nothing. Had the referee behaved like a referee they would have been on 10 men and 3-1 down after the penalty that should have been given on Gordon. 9 even when you throw in Solanke kneeing Dubs in the face.
