Bruno's presence raises our game and sets the standard. Players can't put in half-arsed tackles and runs with him around.

No player in the premier league plays better forward ball than Bruno.

Despite Miley playing well all game, and had a great goal, the most impressive thing watching him is how much he's grown since last season. Literally doesn't look like the same player.

Agreed. His head looks too small for that massive frame.

I think Trippier looked poor because he was one of the only players trying to force the issue in an attacking sense. Also Miggy wasn’t of much assistance. Longstaff, Joelinton, Barnes and Miggy were the worst performers. I thought Targett was decent. Kelly isn’t good enough. He should have closed the ball down for that goal.

He's so robust as well, hardly ever gets shoved off the ball

Job done, no harm no foul, with a few extras

they had a couple moments - good for them, cracking goals, Osula's notched, Miley looks as composed returning from a long lay-off as a kid as he did starting games for the first time as a kid, great gate

nothing we didn't already know but the fringe doesn't impress, Sanusi tried way too hard, not liable to shift what we need to on that evidence

An assured performance there where we did what we needed to do without at any point stretching ourselves.

I'm assuming the subs were pre-planned, though am dubious over the Barnes one.

It felt much better in the second half when we brought our better players on and in that sense I don't feel like the second string covered themselves in glory though there were decent bits here and there.

Conceding first obviously wasn't great but beyond that we were comfortable throughout. Even when behind I was confident.

We Had 81.4% possession today, can’t remember the last time we’ve had it that high against 11 men.

Heard someone on the way out the ground saying "we weren't all over them or anything" and "we didn't press them" Football knowledge off the scale.

Not seen any replays but in real time Targett, Longstaff, Almiron and probably Barnes need to be sold to raise PSR funds. All very poor today. Only going to get worse, apart from Barnes who might hold his value.

Miley was very good, Kelly grew into the game as did Osula. Bruno and Gordon made a big difference.

Harsh on Targett, he was the pick of that bunch by some stretch

I agree about Longstaff and Almiron, but not the other two.

Yes you can say it's been an easy game to officiate but nice to see a ref get pretty much everything right

Did he fuck, he missed two clear bookings (for anything......the other 5 parts of my bet builder are in).

I did like that he didn't book the Bromley player for running through and "scoring" at the Gallowgate end, despite being ages after the whistle. TV flashed to Woodman chuckling about the finish. Even not counting it will be a great memory for that guy.

Good game today - Bromley did really well and full credit to them. We looked much better in the 2nd half, when we started shifting the ball quicker. Two belter goals from Miley and Osula. :coolsmiley:

MoM - Miley.
