Ouch. We'll struggle for a point from those three.

Strongly fancy us to beat forest at home. Also fancy Bournemouth to turn them over this weekend

If we can scrape 1 point out of the other 2 games I'd take that

Yeah I'd do Willock for Joelinton for this game (just as Miley isn't proven on the left).

It's a risk, but Willock is going to need to show he can contribute at some point this season if we are to make top four anyway.

Not sure what makes Willock better for this game than Joelinton.

Not certain but isn't Joelinton close to a yellow card ban?

If it can lesson the danger of him missing a higher profile game \ grab a rest then might be worth it... hate to take games for granted especially away from home but Southampton aren't the best

These have looked more spirited in recent weeks. Potential banana skin but we should have enough about us.

Reckon Miley could be an option. Certainly better in possession than Joelinton. Tonali, Bruno and Miley could absolutely control the midfield but I'd be worried about a lack of mobility. Think Howe will stick with the same team.

Needs another two but the cut-off is miles away so he’ll get it a some point.

Fair enough, would prefer him to miss Southampton than Arsenal which is two games away

He isn't but Joelinton needs a rest and we need the rest of the squad to contribute. We can't play the same XI every game.

It’s the yellow card ban that is the worry, for me.

No Big Joe for any of the games in that horrendous looking 3 game stretch would be brutal.

I do also think he seems to just play every game he’s available. Often looking like or having it confirmed that he is playing through injuries and niggles.

Slightly off topic but am I right in thinking Liverpool away is the game if anybody gets a red card they’d miss the Cup Final if either team got there?

Depends what it’s for, I guess. 3 game ban, then yes. Not sure when the next round of the FA Cup is, should we manage to get past Birmingham (and Arsenal in the League Cup) and whether that would be before the final.

Yes, I imagine that the team which recently beat Villa (h) Man Utd (a) Spurs (a) and Arsenal (a) in successive games, has beaten Forest twice away this season, and played out a 3-3 classic with Liverpool will absolutely struggle to get anything from those games.

Think we lose to Forest at home. It's the exact sort of fixture we struggle in like the Bournemouth one. They won't press as high or aggressively as they did but they will have a rock solid low block which we struggle against often, with plenty of counter attack pace aswell.

Still have nightmares of that Wood hat-trick and him turning Burn inside out and dinking over Dubravka. All the ingredients are still there for history to repeat.

If we have a weeks preparation and have our key players fit (Isak, Gordon, Tonali, Bruno, Joelinton, Hall), we will beat them like we did earlier in the seasdon.
