Got that same feeling that you did when you were a kid and you were about to ask your first lass out, the one lass that was completely out of your league but you thought you were in with a chance.

But you weren’t.

And it hurt. A lot.

If we are using this analogy...

It's actually more like we shagged a fit lass at her place and now we are hoping we can shag her at ours.

Was extremely bullish after the first leg, however, the recent home form hasn't been encouraging.

Hoping the crowd can help raise the levels and also hope Arsenal feel somewhat emotionally & physically drained from the City match

Still favourites but ...

No idea how I managed back in the day if these sorts of games in the last few years or anything to go by.

The FA Cup finals were write offs, fully expected to beat Sheffield United but Chelsea and Spurs in 99 and 00 should have been somewhat akin to this and don't remember being like this.

If by 'take us thru' you mean scoring our third of the night making us 5-0 in total, I'm all for it.

Sadly I don’t think it’ll be an easy night for us

Listening to Simon and Garfunkel to try and calm me down, then realised the massive tension and fall out between them and never speaking again, HWTL!!

It might be but totally depends on which version of us shows up. We are buggered if the Bournemouth/Fulham teams turn up tonight. Think we'll be up for it personally.

Fuck that, Isak hat trick and then Bruno dives blatantly in the box after nettling Gabriel all game, draws a red for Gabe and then converts his own penalty, taking the piss out of the traveling fans in his celebration.

Newcastle 7-0 on aggregate.

Arse to score twice in first 15 minutes, we hold on for dear life rest of game and win on penalties. What's not to like?

The fact I will have died of a heart attack before the winning penalty has gone in

What is the approach to this game likely to be.

More defensive from the outset? Or same approach as the first game?

Hope it's the latter.

Ramming speed, crowd up for it like v PSG and knock them out of the park quickly, than settle (a little) [emoji38]

That would be amazing, but wouldn't be surprised if we come out a bit shaky, and looking a bit uncertain on how much to commit going forward.
