[League Cup Final] Newcastle United Vs. Liverpool - 16/03/25 @ 16:30 (Live on ITV & Sky)

Could be a sanity check thing for their back office, so you win, NUFC back office then use that to tick off successful seats when they send the ticket out? Who knows. Despite having zero chance at all, I’d still not go through with ‘purchasing’ one of those through there. Probably use it as an excuse to void your membership but that’s just me.

They can’t void your membership if they’ve made a cock up on the website like

Like what?

You mean that woman who used NUFC in her account name on social media as she started throwing about transphobic insults?

I suspect he’s more referring to this kind of thing:

Anyone had an experience of the following;

Mate couldn't make the game (West Ham in this instance) - ear infection has doctors note etc

Sold ticket to another fan at face value

Had to go box office to print the ticket off as the ill mate had already downloaded it to Apple wallet

'Done' for touting and the ill mate in question has since had Liverpool and Brentford tickets cancelled with no refund, membership cancelled for rest of the season and subsequently carabao cup history of tickets if we make final.

The woman at the box office was incredibly rude despite it being obvious we're not touts (tout by definition is sale at a profit).

14 year history of buying tickets at the club.

Disgusted by the treatment to be honest.

Weren't told at the time any of this would happen, only told the fan we sold the ticket to at face value couldn't go in to which we said fair enough.

Hoping Liverpool and Villa kick the shit out of each other at a cold wet Villa Park tonight. Couple of straight reds and some hamstring injuries would be grand. They only have two league / FA Cup games until the final after tonight so a three game ban would carry.

Is it possible to see the seating plan with remaining seats available for those in pot 4?

Not currently as access will be locked off. You could for 24hrs for the people in Pot 5 when it re-opens.

However I can safely say it’s upper tier only available.

Seat sorted 🙂 Plenty left - all top stands though

Check back tonight and count the spares via block totals if you get a chance. Only takes a few mins and will give an idea what it’s looking for Pots 5&6.

If I get any info I’ll pass on.

More than that I’d think, you only have to have gone to one cup game.

You didn't even have to go to a game for group 6, just enter 1 x cup game ballot. Think how many will have entered the Arsenal ballot, it'll have been absolutely shitloads. Plus the ST's who didn't go to any cup games are also in the group.

That's why I was so devastated when they announced the criteria.

There'll be millions of billions in the group 6 ballot, scrapping over about 25 tickets maximum. Like nana's fighting over a pair of Daniel O'Donnell's used y-fronts down the local jumble sale

The club could have saved a lot of anxiety and guesswork by just releasing the numbers in Pots 1-5.

I know they’re anal about membership numbers being ‘sensitive information’ so they could have kept Pot 6 numbers to themselves. Releasing the 1-5 numbers surely wouldn’t have been sensitive to any degree?

They'd already disclosed the amount of people on cup scheme was above total allocation (I'd imagine only just) n'all, so splitting the pot breakdowns wouldn't have told us much more.

Yeah, but I reckon if you were/are in Pot 4 or 5 you’d have felt a lot better and clearer in your thinking and planning if you could have just seen the actual numbers.

I don’t understand why it always has to be a secret?
