That’s not a dig at anyone on here it’s just been pretty relentless on social media

Geogaddi Posted yesterday at 11:49 Share Posted yesterday at 11:49 I'm in the minority here but I don't think we were anywhere near as bad as people are making out, gave away two sloppy goals but aside from that looked comfortable. I don't agree either that they were playing in first gear, this is literally how they play every game . it's a poor league this year and they are going to be the worst champions since Leicester won the league . Get Isak ,Joelinton and Botman in that team cut out the silly mistakes and we can give them match in the final.

I've put "Media" in quotation marks as it doesn't mean the same thing it once did (TV/Radio/Journalists), but now includes influencers, bloggers and more. Conjo Posted yesterday at 15:20 Share Posted yesterday at 15:20 I'd be more worried for the final if we had taken a point or more at Anfield tbh. At least Liverpool won't show up with a point to prove on top of the motivasion of it being a final.

I'm the opposite. Been quietly confident these past couple weeks. Had a feeling that our name was on the cup this year. Last night was a reality check. I know there has been some bed wetting, but we honestly didn't play that badly last night, and we still barely laid a glove of them. That being said, I do agree with @conjo in that at least we didn't use up our one jammy Liverpool win last night. If we had somehow won last night there's no way they would have allowed that to happen again in the final.

Vedder Posted yesterday at 16:06 Share Posted yesterday at 16:06 17 minutes ago, lovejoy said: 'the untouchable power of a season ticket'. Eh?? I think he's referring to away games and cup final tickets. Most big clubs don't give (almost) exclusive rights to ST holders for these tickets as there'll always be more people that want STs than can have them. It's not been an issue for us over the past 20/25 years as STs were almost always available and you could argue that the most dedicated fans should get priority. Since the new owners have stopped selling STs and members rights haven't been upgraded, all away tickets and about 98% of cup final tickets go ST holders/corporates. You could argue that the loyalist fans would have held STs under Bruce but that's a contentious subject putting it mildly. Plus, younger fans who are now in a position to go to the games also don't have the option of buying STs.
BermyToon Posted yesterday at 16:39 Share Posted yesterday at 16:39 Botman needs to play for sure. Can't decide whether he should replace Schar or Burn. Probably Schar based on current form, but then we would have two LCBs.

We’ve got 30,000 ST's, 99% sold pre Oct 2021. Almost 5 seasons ago. It's a closed shop since 2022. New ST's don't exist. ST's get massive priority or 100% exclusivity for aways, European games, cup finals, home cup Compare to membership, which is just a £40 a year fee to buy tickets. Even if you never miss a home game you still can't go away and you got a miniscule chance of a cup final ticket And you take your chance with tens of thousands of others in an online queue or ballot for all home games No member can get an ST. Can't even get on an ST waiting list. Trapped at the bottom of the ladder. I’m not moaning about people who have ST’s. I’m moaning about the gulf between ST’s and members. NUFC should provide members with a ladder they can climb that brings the two groups closer Edited yesterday at 18:37 by bobbydazzla

There isn't any answer other than that, is there? The loyalty point debate for aways is another thing altogether, but i'm not sure there's another club in the world where season ticket holders aren't prioritised over others. It's just how it is.
