One other thing to come out of this is that there’s absolutely no point in transferring a cup ticket through the official process. Do it unofficially and you’re better off.

Aye

I done it officially for the Wimbledon game and forwarded the email for the chelsea game

Which Put me pot 3

Would have been pot 2 if I'd done both unofficially...

Yep, no ST, no away games

Can’t even borrow an away ticket off someone with an ST as there’s a chance you get your collar felt for ID at the turnstile and then the ST holder is in a world of pain from the powers that be

So if I was visiting from America and wanted to go see us play at let’s say…Arsenal. There is no chance at all that I could sit in the away end amongst our supporters? I’d have to buy just a ticket elsewhere in the stadium and sit on my hands?

Correct

You’d have to get very creative to source an away end ticket, you couldn’t buy one through legit means and it’d be risky for someone to buy one then pass it on to you

I find it nigh on impossible to get an away ticket of my own accord even with a ST nowadays. Like yourself I jacked my ticket under Ashley and most importantly when he pissed Rafa off.  Got back in in the nick of time because it felt like not enough had stayed away but lost 182 pts as a result. So the club would say they're rewarding "loyalty" but they've scratched regular long term fans from their records.

You can get an away transfer from a ST holder with the requisite points for an away game. However, given they’re limited to two a season, and it can often be hard enough to find someone with the points, that’s not always an easy task.

But if you find yourself over here and looking, asking on here might throw something up for you.

Well I'm in a corporate ballot from my ST within barracks, which doesn't even have prerequisite for cup games!?

Seems a pile of shit that really, they've had a fortune out of me for all the cup games and it's not even factored in so still may lose out.

Feel for all of those who are looking to miss out, ticketing seems to be a big issue for nufc still.

Explain this again? What you are saying makes little sense.

How do you transfer a ticket unofficially?

For season tickets I don’t know, for other tickets just send them the download link.

Never knew - so assume they need a membership account to download it to?

edit: thinking about it - just a digital wallet - as technically it's you who is going albeit the tickets on someone else phone

I have a ST in the barracks of which has a priority period for final tickets, based on nothing but having a ticket in that area afaik.

I've bought all of the extra cup games (home fixtures) through my ST but they're not even a factor in me getting a ticket. Not exactly the end of the world I know but the cup games are like just shy of £200 each time through my ST and they are not a factor in the ballot I'm in.

Unless I've misunderstood the email.

Edit - I understand this sounds like an embarrassment of riches, I just don't understand the logic of it.

You kinda can’t for a ST, other than the fact a ST can be downloaded to more than one device, so if you and your mate  had ST’s you could have both tickets on your phone and just scan in whoever if he wasn’t going.

Obviously if you both weren’t going you’d have to transfer properly.

Are you sure a ST can be downloaded to more than one device?

You should be fine or are you saying you bought your Cup tickets as and when, so not purchased automatically for you in the Cup Scheme?

You had the email after 6pm tonight telling you what pot you are in even?

Yeah. I’ve got my mates on my phone and obviously he’s got it on his.

I’ll caveat it by saying we’re classed as a *strong relationship* on the ticket portal, so it may be it’s only possible in that instance, as opposed to just being linked on the F&F list.

Bought the cup games as and when as I don't ever recall being able to opt into the cup scheme weirdly.

Not even in one of the released pots as I understand, corporate ST's appear to buy in at a separate level again?

And you can actually use them from the different phones? I’ve got a shared ST and we’re currently arranging to meet up prior to every home game to pass round ‘the phone’.

Yeah.

I guess the club might have something in place that shows them how many times a ST has been downloaded (if that’s possible?) so if it’s like ten times there’s questions getting asked.

Seen a lot of complaints but I feel it is pretty fair. Only thing I would say is that it’s pretty mad that loyalty points doesn’t come into it.

Saying this as a member, I don’t think there should be a world where members get tickets ahead of season ticket holders.

Devastated I gave mine up. My copium is that if I didn’t we wouldn’t have nice things such as cup finals, even though my decision made little to no difference.

I think historic loyalty points will start getting phased out shortly like.

Wouldn't be surprised either, this is a bit of a suggestion of it. I’m sure the mackems do something where it’s based on the previous season. Maybe we move towards that.
