The Prophet Posted yesterday at 09:09 Share Posted yesterday at 09:09 A for me. He'd arguably get into any side in the league.
midds Posted yesterday at 09:13 Share Posted yesterday at 09:13 He's an A imo. He's exceptional and he's going to get even better too. We only have a couple of As in the squad tbh but he's definitely one of them, probably only a couple of CMs in the league I'd swap him for, he's got the lot
54 Posted yesterday at 09:14 Share Posted yesterday at 09:14 A easily, other than Isak he's our second best player imo.
Beren Posted yesterday at 09:16 Share Posted yesterday at 09:16 B- for Joelinton IMO. Imperative for how Newcastle are set up for specific games, although the emergence of Tonali this year has made him less indispensable.
Beren Posted yesterday at 09:16 Share Posted yesterday at 09:16 A for Tonali.
Shays Given Tim Flowers Posted yesterday at 09:18 Share Posted yesterday at 09:18 TonAli
AyeDubbleYoo Posted yesterday at 09:18 Share Posted yesterday at 09:18 A.
Vedder Posted yesterday at 09:21 Share Posted yesterday at 09:21 B for Tonali. Love him but I don’t think he’s done enough yet to think he’d walk into any team in the world.
Yorkie Posted yesterday at 09:23 Share Posted yesterday at 09:23 He's only hinted at being an A so far for me. Needs to be consistently brilliant though.
Dr.Spaceman Posted yesterday at 09:26 Share Posted yesterday at 09:26 B. As Yorkie says he's had his 'A' moments but needs to do it consistently over a longer period for me before we can start calling him one of the best in the world.
Keegans Export Posted yesterday at 09:27 Share Posted yesterday at 09:27 I feel the bar for an A is incredibly high. Tonali is a comfortable B but within 12 months he could be an A.
Smal Posted yesterday at 09:28 Share Posted yesterday at 09:28 (edited) definitely potential to be A, but B for now. Only Isak has shown the consistency over a prolonged period to be A-worthy. Tonali is second in line though imo. Edited yesterday at 09:29 by Smal

Rich Posted yesterday at 09:30 Share Posted yesterday at 09:30 Confirmed as our most overrated player already, sheesh. He’s a B at best based on his performances so far in our colours, but he definitely has A potential.

Dr.Spaceman Posted yesterday at 09:38 Share Posted yesterday at 09:38 Yeah, Sandro is definitely not in the same bracket as Messi, Ronaldo, Maradona, Pele etc
gbandit Posted yesterday at 09:40 Share Posted yesterday at 09:40 Think the issue is not only our subjective ratings of players is different but also our interpretations of the rankings are different as well. There’s a world of difference between a World Class player in the Messi ranks (no one comes remotely close) and someone who is one of the ten best in their position worldwide. For me, I’d consider world class as a top ten player in their position consistently

AyeDubbleYoo Posted yesterday at 09:45 Share Posted yesterday at 09:45 He could play for any team in the world. ‘Walk in’, well that’s subjective. But he could get it and he would look good.

I don’t think he is in terms of what he’s shown for us so far, especially in that first season. However, I think with time he’ll show himself to be a top ten CM. I think he has everything in all honesty

Abacus Posted yesterday at 09:52 Share Posted yesterday at 09:52 I think he's high B with the potential to be an A with more games and consistency. He's in the right place to get both, especially if we have a clever summer and upgrade a couple of places in the squad so he's in a better overall team. He definitely has the ceiling to play with better players and not look out of place.
