I would be open to selling Gordon.

I think he’s replaceable, and he’s shown that he’s too much of a hot head and can’t be relied upon.

Nearly every player has their  price. The Gordon of last season definitely wouldn't sell , this season he's not the same player for whatever reason.

Absolute school boy stuff from Tino for their winner. Letting the ball bounce and allowing them to have possession is just so poor.

People can say he was tired but fuck me, there were many errors in his game today and also the paat few games.

They got battered a few weeks ago and were out of it, yeah they beat a faltering Chelsea side twice since then, but they shouldn’t be where they are and won’t be come the end of the season.

And nor will we, we aren’t a better or certainly not a much better side than Brighton.

About as disastrous as it's possible to get.

Didn't play well, to put it mildly

Absolutely everything fell for them

Ref was absolutely horrific and let them off so many times

Gordon misses the final

Isak off with a reoccurring strain

Subs made no impact

Play all of extra time

Still lose

Fucking shite. Hated it, it felt like one of those games from the start and you could see what was going to happen when Welbeck came on a mile off. Not good enough from too many of them.

Dubravka: 7.5

Trippier: 5

Schär: 2

Burn: 6

Livramento: 4.5 Targett: 6.5

Tonali: 6.5

Miley: 5.5 Bruno: 6.5

Joelinton: 6.5 Willock: 6.5

Gordon: 3 (was shit even before the red)

Isak: 7

Barnes: 4.5 Murphy: 5.5

We don’t, but Brighton do?

Not having that tbh.  It’s the FA Cup man - and that was limp.

Agree that was well below par, but the real elephant in the room from today was the sending off, no two ways about it.

That, ladies and gentlemen, is known as season-killer of a game. Mentally and physically that will be fucking brutal on them all, such a shit way to throw it away too. Throw in the Gordon red and potential Isak injury and that could be that. What a fucking awful day

We aren’t getting top 5. We’re incapable of playing with the ball. Teams have sussed it and just let us have it as we’re shit with it.

No cups, no Europe next season. Howe gets sacked in the summer and takes a year off before taking the England job after the 2026 World Cup.

Harsh on Barnes, created a couple of excellent chances, which is way more than Murphy.

We’re so easy to figure out for smart progressive managers like Hurzeler and have been for a while. Never liked our chances for this. Isak is the big equaliser  obvs but he wasn’t fully fit and missed the final 40 mins where the drop off was clear for all to see.

We either impose ourselves and it works or we bang our heads against the wall repeating the same predictable and sussed out system.

Love Howe, and he deserves a better bench and overall squad, but there's a worry his ceiling was that 4th season.

Last season he had injuries, this season he could blame PSR... I'm happy to keep going with Howe and building but there's a looming feeling that Isak and Bruno will be off soon as their ambitions are beyond where he/our situation can take us fast enough.
