I would of actually started Targett soon as hall was out for the season. He's our best bet when he's fit. Agreed. We have a natural left back who's half decent on the bench. Start him ffs. Tends to be the case when teams sit deep against us. TBF, to some degree, that is true for all teams. What is more annoying is how wasteful we have been with our decision making, or lack thereof. When we have had promising positions and a bit of space.
Nine Posted Monday at 20:57 Share Posted Monday at 20:57 They are playing for the counter, they seem happy enough to let us use the ball as best we can. Bowen and Kudus up top together says it all.

Any space which has opened up is closed down by the time the ball comes in.

Vaj Posted Monday at 21:00 Share Posted Monday at 21:00 (edited) Paqueta will change this game in West Ham’s favour. They were there to be got at in the first half and we were just too slow Edited Monday at 21:00 by Vaj
Chris_R Posted Monday at 21:00 Share Posted Monday at 21:00 I know we're bemoaning Tino's lack of a left foot when going forward, and it is annoying, but next weekend I doubt he'll get out his own half. His job will just be to follow Salah round and stop him playing. Last thing you want is him marauding forward and leaving Salah v Burn.
KennyUtd Posted Monday at 21:00 Share Posted Monday at 21:00 If they get an early goal we might as well switch off. They'll go 10 behind the ball and bore the game out. Bastards.

Yeah, your typical feeling the game out first 15 mins. They’ll resume the second letting us have the ball I think. Edit: Unless they bring Paqueta on. Displayname Posted Monday at 21:01 Share Posted Monday at 21:01 I know Tino has been bad, but its to much focus on him here imo. They have "all" been bad.
Smal Posted Monday at 21:01 Share Posted Monday at 21:01 other thing we could work on is just having Tino defend as part of a three like we did with Burn last season. Send Trippier further forward and let Joelinton link with Barnes on the left instead. West Ham have been happy for all of our play to come down the left (Tino most touches is not a coincidence - Potter is a decent coach) and it's been so bad. andyc35i Posted Monday at 21:02 Share Posted Monday at 21:02 Tino is making space and providing some great runs, but we really miss the natural left foot and quality of Lewis Hall. We’d be two up here if Lewis was on the pitch
