He isn’t very good at saving pens historically I don’t think. Even his old man says his brother is better at them  but FWIW. He stopped Toney’s run of consecutive pens when he didn’t flinch for his ‘look at the keeper’ slow run up.

Pope's penalty records in games isn't that great. Transfermarkt has it at 4 saved from 32 faced - although this appears to miss his save from Toney away at Brentford for some reason. So would be 5/33 - not terrible but not top draw.

 

However he did save 3 in that shootout against Palace for us.

I've got more confidence in him saving a penalty than any other keeper we've had I think (although remember Darlow saving 2 in one game)

 

He's only been the deciding factor in one shootout for us, where he saved three against Palace and was unbelievable.

 

Forest this season they were both bad misses from Forest players, and Blackburn/Chelsea last year were Dubravka in goal.

 

Hennessey was in goal when we lost to Burnley.

Yeah in the last few games Sandro has been our best midfielder but Joelinton was very good against MU and Bruno had a good game last night.

Bruno deserves the chance to play with a bit more freedom/less pressure. We forced him to be Mr. Everything for 2 seasons (which he did very, very well imo); some of his touchmaps last season were absolutely insane.
