Newcastle United vs. Ipswich Town: 26/04/25 @ 15:00 (No UK TV)

Recommended Posts

Got to make this one count. With City playing Villa, 3 points would mean we are the same points gap as before today's game with either City or Villa depending on who wins. A draw would mean a 3 point gap to City and 4 point gap to Villa, with only 4 games to play.

If one team is to win, then I would prefer City. My reason is that Villa's PSR is starting to bite them according to reports, stating that they may have to sell players this summer. Oh and there fans are cunts also.

People who think Bruno is too tired would you drop him for this then? One of the weakest teams in the league, surely Willock/Miley can fill in?

Wether people think that, or not, we're down to one game a week now.

Any tiredness, perceived or otherwise, should be manageable.

What’s our record like after a convincing defeat? Do we go on a bad mini run or straight back with a bounce back performance and victory?

Past being no certain indicator of future events, over our season so far we’ve normally responded decently to a thumping. I think coupled with a hopeful return of EH and Ipswich being a side in deep trouble we should see a confidence boosting performance.
Be curious if we rotate at all. I do think our reluctance to leads to its own problems.

Chelsea are currently losing to Fulham, Forest are away to Spurs and Villa are away to City before we play this. Potentially a great chance to extend our lead over all 3 with just 12 points to play for.

Forest will beat spurs imo.
