I look at our remaining fixtures and unless we are at our best we could possibly lose all of them.

Today is the start and if we lose this the pressure will be enormous. Not just on me but Eddie and the team

There’s absolutely no pressure on you

There is pressure on me, I'm 81 and my team means everything to me . I made the remark tongue in cheek, not literally. I couldn't sleep last night for thinking about this game and so much want us to finish in the top four because Eddie and his team deserve it

You can’t possibly expect us to lose 4 games in a row after the season we’ve had. Including two very winnable home games. Makes no sense.

Of course we’re all nervous but imagining doomsday scenarios isn’t very productive.

I tend to agree.  Lose and I recon we either need something at Arsenal or we're relying on Villa/others to drop points.

I think winning against Chelsea and Everton will most likely do it for us. Neither Chelsea, Villa and Forest are likely to win the rest of their games.

You can get 7/4 odds on Villa to beat Bournemouth for example.

Howay man Ian give him a break, the blokes 81, he can think what wants 😅

But I do agree with your point, we’ve won what, 20 of 26? There’s no way we don’t win another 1 or 2.

Bournemouth will be tough, that’s the only game I see them potentially dropping points though.  If they win that and I’ll think they’ll see off both spurs and Man Utd.

Man Utd away for Villa isn’t  a guarantee

Yeah its the last game of the season at home for Man Utd. Europa League final will already have been played so no need to rest players.

Villa's form seems to have dropped off quite a bit.

Spurs will be a free win though, no doubt.

Miley supposedly starting.

Fair to assume we will be changing tack slightly, and maybe not pressing as high as usual for this one. Which I am absolutely fine with away from home against a dangerous team.

Our cup loss to them is fairly easily written off now. Not that we didn’t try in that game but we weren’t going to risk the chance we had in the cup final by overextending.

Not had a great record against them though which I’m concerned about.. every team has a bogey team and they’ve been one of ours along with Liverpool over the last few seasons.

We’re due a result.

We’re a better team than them, we just need to be tactically set up to cut off their passing options from the back and try to nullify their pace from the wings.

Bit of shithousery today and frustrate them before we start to impose our game.

0-2 (Barnes, Isak)
