Think we'll get something at Forest but that's based on nowt bar our record there and their win against Burnley the other week being their only home league win since 14th December.

No but it’s a shambles that this is even a consideration again. I thought we were beyond this.

It's been a truly bizarre season all round.

Not sure it’s been that bizarre to be honest. The managers system has been found out, he’s refused to adapt and we are losing lots of games because of that.

It makes logical sense really.

I was talking about the PL as a whole but well done for turning it into another sad opportunity to have a frankly embarrassing dig at Eddie Howe.

I think we'd get 2 more points. Max. 43 44 should be safe enough. Unless spurs and west ham go on a freak run.

Said it earlier, will say it again. We will stay up, even if we don't win another game. It's just numbers. There's only one relegation spot left. For us to go down it would require Spurs, West Ham, Forest, and Leeds all to get to 42, without us picking up another point. Those things happening together are incredibly unlikely.

It's doesn't matter who's form is better than ours, Spurs and West Ham would need to find top 5 form at the same time for both to get out of trouble. Yes, we are currently shit, but we have points on the board. In this scenario that's more important than form.

I don't think we'll go down, but if, hypothetically, we do lose all 4 remaining matches then that puts Forest above us and West Ham within 3 points of us as they would both be picking up 3 points vs us. You'd fancy Leeds to pick up at least 2 points given they have 8 from their last 4, and especially with them playing Burnley at home on Friday, so IF we were to lose all 4, we'd probably be relying on Spurs not getting 8 from their last 4, and the pessimist might then be thinking Leeds will have nothing to play for when they play Spurs, the Villa match on Sunday is right between their Europa League semi final matches etc.

Here's the Premier league form table, Forest and West Ham are down the bottom of the league, but they aren't playing like it

This sort of proves my point, I know we're shit, but look at that run of events that would need to happen.. And this is assuming we're shit enough not to pick up another point this season. One draw and we're out the picture.

Aye, you'd like to think we wouldn't end the season with 8 straight league defeats, which is what it would be, and we'll surely pick something up, and one point would surely end all doubt, but given we do play 2 sides below us, if we were to limp to 8 straight defeats then it wouldn't be that unlikely, but as it is, most bookies aren't taking bets on us, so it's clearly not likely, but if you take the games individually rather than collectively, then it is quite hard to see where the next point is coming from.

We’re closer to the Europa League than we are to relegation, and we’ve all decided there’s no chance of that happening, so I think we’re safe.
