Pretty sure the talk was £35 to £40m with replacement in place, or £50m now. Something along those lines.

Nothing new, but Downie says as soon as Brentford get a replacement, Wissa will get done quickly. Next  couple of days/weekend (timeline has not been our best friend I know ).

Be happy with that. Because if we create chances he will score goals. Spend ambitiously (ideally) in other areas instead.

It wasn’t anything to do with fee, Brentford just wouldn’t sell the guy. 
 

I mean, if we’d gone mental with money they might have caved I guess. But I’d rather wait a couple of weeks and just do a normal transfer.
