it truly is. By selling Wilson and Willock when they had just been integral to our 4th place in 2023 and then securing a striker probably would have saved us from selling Anderson and then this summer we’d had been less desperate about the new striker and held a much stronger bargaining position

That was the season to sell Almiron, for me at least.

 

But then we did desperately need a CM and defensive cover iirc.
