Have no idea why they signed him. He’s the complete opposite of who they needed this year and it was plain as day

Aye given Cunha and Mbuemo are more goal scorers you'd think they would have wanted someone to facilitate. Instead they got a striker who's entirely reliant on service.

Makes sense though no doubt Brexit Jim has a massive influence on what goes on despite the football structure.

Lads, we were tracking Sesko while you were still in the Championship.

Probably even worse if that’s the case, which means you guys got it all wrong and wasted so many years effort

It should be an example where the lad should be sacking his agent and advisors right now, even if Man Utd was his preference.  Lad made a terrible decision.

Why? He's got an enormous contract at a massive club and either Amorin succeeds which means Sesko wins things, or Amorin is sacked and he pays under a new manager.

Obviously it's a factor but manager churn is so high these days you can't really base your move entirely on who the manager is today because they could be gone tomorrow, for better or worse.

Or his career hits the skids, the next manager doesn’t fancy him, and in a couple of years he finds himself playing in Turkey

Over in Slovenia, Tine Zupan, who is a commentator and pundit, has said Šeško would’ve better suited Newcastle United.

Quoted by RTVSLO, Zupan explained: “I think Newcastle have a much better style of play for Šeško’s characteristics. Newcastle’s style is a better reflection of what he was used to in Leipzig. They are an extremely direct team, very fast, looking for a different way to score than Manchester United. We saw a big problem with Rasmus Hojlund last season, who was the last striker before Šeško. His shot-on-target statistics were terrible. He had games and games when he didn’t get a shot and now we see it with Šeško."

“Neither Manchester United nor Arsenal have the ideal game for Benjamin Šeško. Arsenal is because they are dominant and Šeško needs space for his game. At United, for the first time this season, we are seeing the beginnings of Amorim’s game, which is significantly more possession-oriented than last season.”

Zupan went on to say Nick Woltemade fits the Magpies better: “Šeško would be better suited to Newcastle, but I’m not sure if it would be better for Newcastle to have Šeško instead of Woltemade. At the moment, I think Woltemade is more ready for what he has to do.”
