In all seriousness, we're all quite aware that Yawnstein's tweet isn't actually news, yes? The Isak situation has the European striker market in an absolute frenzy atm, agents need to get their clients into the mix. That's literally all this is.

Age is on his side, but I’m not really getting the enthusiasm on this one. He looks incredibly raw on his YT highlights reels.

Personally, and I know it’s not a popular opinion on here, I’d much prefer we went with Watkins and Wissa, or even Jackson, before going for someone so raw and unproven to any real degree.

Him and Wissa skunds like a good combination though? Someone for now and someone for the future.

Him and Wissa would be sound like. Need a mix of one proven PL and another who is a bit more of a spicy gamble

That's a better combo than Jackson and Wissa.

My personal choice would actually be Watkins and Samu. Two different styles , two different ends of their career and one of them won't be off to AFCON. Also I'd rather give Villa money (and weaken them) over giving Chelsea money (and not weakening them).

Hard to know whether Watkins and Samu would even be possible, close to £100M for those two you'd think.

Our transfer committee are leaky like a siv ffs.

Strange how every journo knows our transfer targets, knows exactly what went on with Mitchell and the club behind closed doors, knows what we're planning with the training ground and new stadium etc., but absolutely nobody knew for an entire year that Isak was unhappy here.

I’d rather we went for guaranteed goals right now, and spent a year or two scouting the shit out of our next big striker move, personally.

Alex Crook knew. He knew in March apparently. Must be true, it was on TalkSport.

Still not convinced Watkins is actually for sale. Can't remember any actual news or if it was just people listing strikers again.
