from that Stuttgart forum. 'A Munich fan states: "The thing with Newcastle happened almost completely silently. During the negotiations with us, every puff was made public. I have no idea how much came from us, but that's sad.'

People easily forget, we're as sneaky as a ninja.

Him holding out to go to Bayern in 2-3 years will be fun [emoji38]

Seriously though, the situation was starting to look very grim. We needed to pull a rabbit out of our hat and we've done just that.

Yea we can’t complaint much, at this stage. We can only hope Eddie can help him settle asap

Getting Wissa would be ideal. Bit like how Wilson allowed Isak to settle in his first couple seasons.

One of her videos popped up on my feed while I was going through a bunch of Sesko highlights and I was like "eh this is looks kinda amateurish but I'll leave it on in the background for five minutes."

And then gradually I realize that she is unironically very good at this.

Stats noncery for those into it.

Comparison with Ekitike and Sesko (previous targets) and Isak here, on last years' numbers. Click on "Toggle Per90" to get stats per minute played, because big Nick got much less game time.

https://fbref.com/stathead/player_comparison.cgi?request=1&sum=0&dom_lg=1&player_id1=7ca196eb&p1yrfrom=2024-2025&player_id2=5b92d896&p2yrfrom=2024-2025&player_id3=3260690c&p3yrfrom=2024-2025&player_id4=8e92be30&p4yrfrom=2024-2025

Notable ones are big Nick is much more of a team player, with 25% more passes a game than Isak and a third more touches. More shot and goal creating actions than the other three. Shooting is just as good, but his average shot distance is far shorter, making him a penalty box striker. The big Nick heatmap on Sofascore has a massive red patch in the box and also at inside left. So my impression off numbers alone is that he's a bit unicorny, he's involved a lot in buildup with passes and touches, but also gets lots of classic striker, I dunno Sir Les or Demba type goals. Also draws lots of fouls, so more of a handful than the other three.
