All feels so easy to say in retrospect but never really got the feeling Isak was the kinda warm person that I think both fans take to and the player themselves take to the club/fans.

That's why whether we like it or not...Isak is fucking top.

He'll be the new Henry at Liverpool I reckon - if managed right, and that is somewhat because he is a stone cold killer in front of goal.

The thing is though - he'll gladly fuck them off too when their time is up for him and I will absolutely revel in that moment. Likewise if he sustains a long term injury I will laugh my tits off.

I want Newcastle to be the best it can be, but by God if that is with Dan Burns and Jacob Murphys it will be 10x sweeter than Isaks.

Hopefully old Saint Nick will be just that. That warm, loveable chap that Bruno has been, investing in why he is here and becoming an adopted Geordie.

Nothing much beats seeing good people get good things in any form of life...

You might be right about Isak. He's clearly excellent but I still don't think he's the finished Article, he was poor at the start of the season and at the end. If that's because he was pissed off then fair enough. If he does continue as he probably will though he'll be wanting to join Real or Barca. I wonder if he talks to Zlatan alot. The way he talks about Isak they probably do.

I honestly think Isak can be sublime me like. Hate to say it now purely because he's at another English team.

I never warmed to him though and I'm glad I didn't in some way now. Rondon > Isak

Isak is not in Henry's league and never will be imo. Henry had way more pace and could do everything Isak can do. He was just an all round better athlete too. Much less injury prone. Isak always looked knackered after 50-60 minutes in most games as well.

Is his chant also the ‘ole ole ole’ one?!

We need some new material

Aye. TBF I was pleased today. Was simple and effective and made him feel loved. Do agree though. I was just singing the Harry Potter tune and all the nearby Hagrids looked at me like some dementor.

Nicky, Nicky, Nicky, can't you see, sometimes your goals just hypnotise me.

I just love your flashy ways, Woltemade scores all day.

Needs work, but at least it isn't a re-hash of something 35 other clubs have used

Was a strange one. No doubt he's one of the best strikers we've ever had but the crowd never really warmed to him. No chants, not proper ones that reverberate around the ground anyway. He was class but you never really felt the crowd were right with him like with Cole, Shearer, Ferdinand etc.

When Woltemade scored today it felt different. A full stadium right with him and tbf he reacted to that. I never got that with Isak. He never got the full ground behind him. Maybe he knew. Maybe we knew. Anyway hope he goes on to have a shit career at Liverpool and his replacement does more of what he did today. Then we'll all be happy.
