Cunt is smooth as fuck. Not sure there's enough to say he's not a striker just because he's good at passing. Will see with time.

Doesn’t seem to be willing to get many shots off like an instinctive striker.

Missed the last 2 games but just watched the extended highlights of the Bournemouth game

His hold up play is exquisite, the ball seems to stick to him and he's quality with his back towards goal. Though I know it only shows our good bits of play

Hope he can become a fox in the box and also get some goals arriving in, assuming our wingers get played in off his layoffs

What we lose in transition ability from losing Isak, hopefully we can improve in 1/2 more other areas of play

Watched this game and exactly the same thoughts. Quality on the ball, seems to have that extra second that the top players have

Let's he how we get him involved in the box as time goes on

Ehhh early days, and can't say I saw him have many goal scoring opportunities in two and a half games of play. Lessee what's to come :)

Some footballers you could pay to watch and this guy is that.

Hes not going to be the polished goalscorer this season... come back in 2027 and see whether he is.

Im not sure ive seen a forward so good with the ball at his feet under pressure. The best comparison is Berbatov. Everything is in slow motion.

Doesn’t matter if he doesn’t get near 20 PL goals in a season if everyone around him increases their tally as a result of the way he links it all up. We will then have Wissa when we need someone more instinctive in the box. Exciting times!

He’s honestly just a lanky Bergkamp and that will do for me.

No wonder people hate football nowadays. If you can't enjoy watching a player like him, you might as well give up.

Not a pop at you by the way. Bergkamp is a good comparison.

wonderful on the ball. I am really interested in how we setup to get the best out of him. He is more 10 than 9.

Shall we just call him a 9.5 for ease.

It will be interesting to see if Howe ever starts Wissa and Wolt in games as they would form a deadly partnership imo

Also, for the first time today, you saw the Barnes link up. I can see them enjoying each other. A striker who plays like a midfielder and a winger who plays like a striker.

Yeah you could definitely see Barnes or Gordon, even Joelinton scoring more than average feeding off him.

I honestly meant it as the biggest compliment to big nick, Bergkamp was never prolific but is one of the great PL players.

I am sure i am going to love him can see where his link up play and number 10 style work make him an asset bringing others into goal scoring positions.

Wissa and him together will be interesting to see but we need the rotation so maybe not destined to be a thing that often.
