He's mint. Already class and will get even better when he's got someone to link with 10 yards ahead of him. You can see he's coming too deep but his holdup and vision are both already top notch. Get Wissa fit and start them both and we'll springboard and be fucking flying, we're so fucking close man

An absolute pleasure to watch him play, its crazy to think that despite how utterly forlorn our striker search was this summer, we ended up stumbling on the best one of the lot. A much better footballer than his slithery predecessor too

He manages to get into some great positions in the final third, but we don't force it into his feet in those areas. We're only doing it earlier in the build up phase at the minute.

He will be in some dangerous shooting positions the more we do that and he will score goals.

I really don't think the team has fully grasped how sharp this guy's mind is and his exceptional awareness of what is around him especially.

No idea of the backstage chat that was the foreplay to him coming here but this kid has hit the jackpot.

Eddie Howe will either help him to become an absolute superstar OR arrange the team's system to make him look like one.

The former for me, he's a......cough.....splutter......baller [emoji38]

All the things that had to transpire this past summer for us to end up with this genius so late in the day. My God

Thanks to all the strikers that went elsewhere.

Watching this guy is too much fun. Can't wait to see him continue to get even better in this team.

Please can we do more to find him in the final third in more goalscoring positions? He deserves it. Thought Gordon could have played him in a few times later on instead of trying to shoot.

What a wonderful player.

We keep landing on our feet.

What a signing, just absolutely UNIQUE.

Almost every signing we have made has been a very good signing.

Even Elanga and Ramsey may prove to be well worth the money in due course, we will see but it's amazing and exciting.

Also, this whole 'Woltemessi' patter needs to stop. I wish people would stop comparing the two.

I mean the guy is good, but he's no Woltemade!

:boomboom: :coat:

Woltemarfabatovbrahimovic.

If we're to accept he's probably not a natural goalscorer, then it becomes imperative we sign players - particuarly wingers, who are equally adept at intricate link up play.

I'm not conviced he's not a natural goalscorer yet tbh.

For example there was a move where Murphy shot just wide of the left post, I think Big Nick played it to him, he was certainly involved in the build up, but after he played the ball out he sprinted and got in the perfect CF position in the middle of the goal to pick up a rebound.

Or there was the one chance he got which was deflected behind. From the replay it looked like it was a great shot before the deflection. Keeper might have got it but still a clean strike in the corner.

Definitely agree about the speed of thought. He's up there with Sandro with that.

The Isak assist away at Everton was otherworldly but he's never done something like that since. Whereas Woltemade does insane precise flicks and amazing stuff in literally EVERY GAME. Even when we got humiliated by Brighton he scored an insane backheel. Just WOW, what a player.
