They’ve got a few of the same weaknesses and both have ideas of playing as ten. Kane didnt look like being more than a squad player in a side ranked 15th-25th in the football pyramid tol he was 23 or 24. And I hope he's learning that if he gets in the box he'll get a goal, seeing him just off the pen spot asking for the pass was a refreshing change. He's still not 100% on the same wave length as key team mates and he needs to work on his movement as he often seems to move into positions where the pass to him is blocked or he crowds a team mates space. Yorkie Posted May 17 Share Posted May 17 Absolutely love it when he gets on the scoresheet because, while I have plenty of doubts about him, I really want to believe that the idea of him is true. He's reminded me of certain others in that sense - where the idea of him seems to exist in theory but without much evidence (different type of player but Luque always comes into my head first). At the end of the day, he's shown glimpses and has got eight PL goals this year. It's not good but it's not disastrous.
