Will Eddie go for a back 3?

I hope not

We've not scored the last 3 times we played it

We played it against Chelsea and were shite against ten men (did manage to sneak a win like)

Think the only time its worked to good effect was the 2 arsenal semi finals

Think the PSG 2023 blueprint is the way to go.

We'll either see a couple of changes for this (Gordon/Hall/Elanga) in maybe or we'll see just the one (Gordon) and then a few against Bournemouth. Either way there will be quite a few players playing every minute of the three games in this week.

Not what you want really but with Wissa and Ramsey both out it's tough to see where we can really change it up. Willock and Osula aren't good enough to treat them to start against Bournemouth and get a result I don't think.

Any reason why this is on a Thursday night? Thought champions league matches were on a Tuesday and Wednesday.

Opening week of the tournament, and no Europa and Conference League games, to they spread it out for maximum exposure and therefore more money.

Don't think so ( and I liked it last season) as we'll want to exploit behind their full backs who push right on. Both games Ive seen tgem so far they've defended terribly on the transition in those areas so 3 up and pace wide is a must. Pleased Gordon is back for this.

I know Isak had the volley saved that led to our first, but he was fairly peripheral all match. Our defense, wingers and midfield were absolutely brilliant v Paris. Good reminder for us all that the sum of our parts are capable of anything. We just need a moment or two of quality and we have that. Into them!
