I know some people don't like these (or one of them) but they make a few valid points about Howes tactics, formation and inability/reluctance to change things.

Frustrating. Worrying.

One win and they'll be more fickle than anyone, especially the main gobshite.

Feel like we do the same attacking thing on the right hand side for years and years and it's stopped working. Bruno trying to thread it through to the winger or right back through the eye of a needle by creating an overlap.

We never do it on the left hand side and the margin for error just seems to make the move so frustrating as it regularly just ends up not making anything out of it

Yep. Said as much in the Howe thread. If all the fans can see it. Then I’d imagine elite level coaches and armies of analysts have noticed this too.

God, this and also yesterdays results really has worsened what was already a horrible week for me personally. Absolutely in the pits.

Sorry to hear that man. Hope things improve for you throughout 2026

Think that would be the best shout I've ever seen on here if that happens. Wolves are looking like they won't get 11 points.

The thing is they aren't getting battered week in week out. They've been in a lot of the games I've seen.

Should of have got something at Arsenal and at our place. Drew at Spurs, should have won. Gave Liverpool a good game on Saturday.

Don't get me wrong, they are shite. It's just that I dont think Man Utd are any great shakes, despite the slight upturn in results.

I agree, I don’t think the players are the problem at Wolves. They are a squad that is probably around the relegation spots but there’s no way they should be doing this poorly. Think that’s down to their off-field stuff and lack of ambition

Yeah I've thought the same about Wolves. They're a very strange team, there's obviously sometimes not right with them, but they don't look anywhere near as bad as those record breaking bad teams.

Why would a player be at Wolves is my question. Seems because they play for another club in the group and they are moved around like raw materials in a manufacturing company or something, just because it's expedient for PSR or whatever accountancy tricks they want to do.

Don't know if that's always the case but maybe it's a factor in why they have some talented players but not much culture or identity.

I agree.

They gave us a tough game, and I saw most of their match at Anfield, and for a good chunk of the second half, Wolves were well on top.

They're clearly not good enough, but I don't think they are 2 points level bad.

We slaughtered Wolves three weeks ago at their own place.

Agree it will be much harder with the absentees but we would be extremely unhappy with anything but a win.

wasn't able to watch the match and wasn't expecting to view much at all going by most of the comments about creating next to fuck all. Having watched the highlights a couple of times , we did have a few decent moments in their penalty area. The best of these fell to Gordon who flashed it wide from a tight angle on the edge of the 6 yard area after an excellent move. Big Joe had a trademark lame sidefooted effort straight at their keeper whichn he should have done more with, and Miley skied one on his weaker foot. This was on top of Hall's thunderbastard, the handball shout, and some pullback by Barnes that loads mentioned but was inexplicably omitted from the highlights.

Not enough maybe, but not quite as grim as I was expecting.

At the other end, I fancy Pope to get down to that, Bruno caught again on the half turn for Tesco off the bar, and what the fuck was Schar dreaming  about letting him in to chip just over.

Pretty much sums up my reaction to most of our games before I go online
