Jonas
42 minutes ago, CallumG6 said: If you want to get in the champions league, then these games you absolutely have to be winning, no excuses whatsoever. They’re bottom of the league. Edwards might have them turning a corner, but when you’ve got the difficult away fixtures coming up we have, we might look back on this result as the difference between Europe, and no Europe. Which can then affect our ability to recruit/retain our best talent come the summer. Not good enough unfortunately. Think anybody outside of a relegation battle should be beating bottom of the league shite away at this stage of the season (when its clear they're relegation shite) and being disappointed not to. For fellow relegation battlers it can be a meh result.

With our current away form as a filter, a point away from home - to anyone - is a good point. Genuinely admire the optimistic viewpoint and your overall positive attitude. Wish it was me. Personally - regardless of them picking up or whatever - I think a point against a team with 7 points in mid January is a shocking result. The performance was as toothless as ever. Six of their eight points have come in the last four (today included). That’s where I’m pretty chill about the result today. We met them at the worst time. We still need a new game plan though, admittedly.

ExiledGeordie
A striker of Isak’s quality means we probably win that 1-0 yesterday and that’s the difference sometimes. That being said we look terribly stale, completely devoid of ideas how to break a low block down. Not quite sure it was the game for Joslinton, why didn’t Ramsey start? Just feel like at the moment the poor transfer window is really showing itself combined with the likes of Wissa not looking sharp.
KennyUtd
The more I watch Wolt's fluffed header in the 1st half the worse it gets. Absolutely no conviction at all. Game changer that.

SteV
That was the ultimate Wolves away experience for all those that went. Nil-nil, dull and pissing down. The sooner they fuck off, the better.
samptime29
Disappointed but we move on. We're still well in the hunt for Champions Legaue qualification. 2 wins from next 2 games would change the mood.

Last time I was there, and I haven’t been for a while, because the whole experience is not particularly pleasant, we ended up in a Pizza Express sharing a small margarita so we could get a few bottles with it. From what I see and hear now, very few actually bother with Wolverhampton itself, either go around New Street or places outside like Cannock, then straight to the ground. Had either Woltemade or Joelinton got a full forehead on a couple of headers we'd have won that game. Poor. We didn't create much but again those were great chances. Vaj
I still don't understand why we don't try and change something up away from home especially in a game like that one. It was the perfect opportunity to play Woltemade in behind Wissa to give them something else to think about when they are sat in a low block. Also would have meant having an extra body in the box for some of the crosses that were put in. It was a really disappointing and dull performance which was like so many of our away games this season, can't see the harm in trying something different when Plan A is failing. A cross that got the single goal against wolves last time. Almost like it worked, so that’s the plan here. Plan A.

It was pretty similar to Leeds, Bournemouth, Sunderland and probably more that I can't remember right now. Created next to nothing and didn't deserve to win the game. I can understand losing games/dropping points but it's the manner of them now for me. The performances are so poor - even in some of our wins - that they aren't even that much of a shock anymore. Wolves have definitely picked up but to go there and put in a performance like that against a team that's been bottom all season is crap like. For me the frustration got nothing to do with Wolverhampton. We have all seen this away performance too many times this season. We are not learning a thing month after month. No new patterns, just the same old story.
