Liverpool vs. Newcastle United: 31/1/26 @ 20:00 (TNT Sport)

Recommended Posts

Will be another crazy game. They'll smash us, we'll get back into it. They buckle under the pressure from us and we finally level. Then they score in the 97th minute, they celebrate like it's a cup final. Camera cuts to Isak grinning in the crowd. Slot is smug and shakes Howe's hand too long and too aggressively. Tindal has a scrap with some rando cunt set-piece coach. Clips of a cumming Carragher are in my feeds for a week or so.

A performance like last night gives me encouragement for Saturday, however, we have been here too many times. Be great for confidence and of course a push for European football if we can turn this lot over. The players should be buzzing after last night and raring to go. My fear is that a lot of them will be on their arse after the effort.

Would be great if Willock has turned the corner, maybe a performance like that will help him build his confidence and the effort he put in would have done wonders for his match fitness.

Apparently they've got 1 centre half fit and no right back as Frimpong went off last night with his hammy.

Clean sheet Liverpool is what you’re saying then ?

I read that Konate might be back.  As he's been away for personal reasons, his Dad sadly passed away.  Even Gomez has a chance of making it.  But he's always injured, so I doubt it.

They'll probably play Slobberdog at right back and he's usually class wherever he plays.

There's only one person on this entire forum that has ever supported Liverpool mate, and it's not me.

 Not sure how to respond tbh.

Should know better but feeling better about this than I have done in decades thinking this could be our time.

Then reality kicks in, it's Liverpool, there's VAR, there's added on minutes and I get deflated again.

Wouldn't be averse to lining up in the same way as we did last night.
