1-1, feels like it could go either way though, more likely to be a loss than a win, but I genuinely think either team could win it. We're dross currently, but they aren't great and have just played in Europe.

I’m really hoping we won’t be dross like.

After a good rest and hopefully being well motivated to regain some good form, I think we are going to go on a fantastic run of results.

Nobody is going to want to play a rested and hungry Newcastle.

This is where I am, I think we've held back to conserve energy and been knackered after all those games, 3 weeks rest and no more packed schedule, I think the shackles are off and we are relentless.

Yeah, I'm secretly hoping the same, but I've been hurt too many times this season when I've got my hopes up so I'm not admitting it!

A lot of people at expecting the relentless Newcastle after a big rest. If we lose this after a poor performance it’s going to be incredibly deflating.

I wonder if there's even a tiny chance that Wissa could start up front?

I know it won't happen, but Howe himself said a few weeks back that he's as fit as he's ever been since signing.

He might be fit but he's looked a right lazy cunt when he's played mind

Remember that game where we won 1-0 but never had a shot on target.

Was it not last season and it finished 1-1?

I’m sure Guehi scored an own goal.

Aye last season. And then Guehi equalised in the last minute.

There’s no excuse to not get a result here, if we’re honest. Aye, Bruno’s absence stinks, but we’re playing them less than 72 hours after a big European game, they’re nowhere in the league, and we’ve had plenty of prep time. If we turn up and we’re anywhere near our proper level, we’ll win by two.

See I don't understand that, because if that's true, it means we didn't do any background checks on him. It's not like he was a last minute signing, we identified him as Wilson's replacement early on in the summer transfer window.
