Struggling to give 2 fucks, season is done for me,rebuild starts now.

Honestly win lose or draw I’m not bothered at all,it’s all about next season now and how we comeback from “that” game.

Just play Elanga. See if he can find some kind of momentum. Hes the future so might aswell try and get him going last couple of games.

It's far from done like.

People seeing the mackem game as the be all and end all are very shortsighted in my opinion.

This. Given the fixtures next week, it's not beyond the realm of possibility we end next weekend 3 points off a Europa League place if we beat Palace...

Rebuild starts in the summer and these last 7 games might shape who is in charge to oversee it.

If we get 7 games where it looks like the players don’t give a fuck, then the manager has problems.

Hope we play Hall, Botman, Thiaw and Tino for the remainder of the season with some cameos from Trippier, Burn and Schar.

Botman is missing half his face so won’t be ready for a while

That didn't stop Harvey Dent.

Skynet’s a better future than Elanga.

Easy scapegoat if it all goes wrong on the 12th, though.

Don’t think we’ve had a single game where it looked like the players didn’t give a fuck TBH.

Body language of the players will be very interesting imo.

It's cliche as fuck but every game is a Cup final now.

Empty the tanks full commitment use the gap between fixtures to recharge and go again.

If we are to fail this season and by fail I mean miss out on Europe it shouldn't be for the want of trying.

We also need to stay calm and focused for the full 90 something which has been lacking this season.

The week preceding this break was clearly an absolute disaster but in the ten days preceding that we'd: come within a hair of beating Barcelona, won at Stamford Bridge, and embarrassed Man Utd with ten men. The players not giving a fuck has simply never been a thing under Howe, ever. Sometimes they've underperformed, very occasionally they've left something out there - but 'not giving a fuck', just nah. It's never happened.

This could not be any more transparently set up for a JSL "now let's have a look at what you could have won" performance while Wissa sits on the bench or potters around Selhurst Park if they brought Jim Bowen and Tony Green back from the dead to present the game.

It will obviously be the usual shit game down there, but I fancy us to get at least point. Hopefully it's a tough and tight game for them against Fiorentina on Thursday and they're managing minutes or protecting a knock or three before heading to Italy too.

Be prepared for Gordon’s attitude to be stinking as he holds himself back for the World Cup.

More evidence of the exact opposite, as he tries his bollocks off so he gets a starting place.

Feel like Gordon has a bit of a dilemma ATM. Clearly he sees his future centrally and it's the position he wants to play in more than any other, but for as long as Kane is in the fold he's getting nowhere near that role for England. Arguably even for any of the clubs he might picture himself playing for, if indeed he has sights elsewhere. Who's buying him as a striker this summer? Arsenal, at a push?

That dilemma therefore extends to us and I wouldn't be astonished if he's our first choice CF next season. I don't hate the idea tbh. If he sorts his finishing out then we could be looking at a very, very good striker in the long run.

I’ve got a restricted view ticket for this one. Anybody ever done that at Palace? How bad is it?

Aye. Was a fucking shocking view so you’ll definitely want to move as soon as you get in as scores of others will be doing the same.

Palace is my worst away ground. Shithole of an area, crappy old stadium and music after their goals.

It’s the only ground I’ve been to where I’d never go back. Makes the West Road look like Beverley Hills.

Be a big risk going into next season with him as our main striker imo. He struggles unless it's against a team that gives us space.
