For Newcastle it's been really shite but in general it's almost been an all timer. Spurs staying up when they should and could have gone, Arsenal set piecing their way to winning the league, Sunderland coming up after years away and doing the double over us and getting Europa League, Celtic winning the league... Again etc. etc.
Big Geordie
5 for me - saved by the CL and cup runs. League has been woeful.
TRC
Only 2008/09 was worse in the last 20 years for me. At least the Rafa relegation we had hope and expected to have a good season the next year.

r0cafella
3. Cl was par. Cups were also par. League has been way below par.
MagMal
Disjointed and fucked from the start and nice guy Eddie has struggled to find the answers, our formation and play has been well found out.
DebuchyAndTheBeast
4/10. Decent run in the League Cup and CL but atrocious form in the league. Most of our signings have been poor too so it doesn't bode well for next season.
Collage
3/10 League - pathetic Domestic cups - Decent CL - good until Barca wiped the floor with us League is of course the most important, hence the rating.
Guillaume
4 or 5, due to a cup semi final and progressing in the champions League. Otherwise it'd be a 3. 1 would be relegation, 10 champions. Edited May 24 by Guillaume
OoOGazOoO
A finishing position of 12th, wow, that is horrific given how much we have spent Edited May 24 by OoOGazOoO

TopL0ader
Gone 5. Purely Champions League nights saved it from a 3/4 Edited May 24 by TopL0ader
Weezertron
I’ve enjoyed the season if you take Newcastle out of it.
BennyBlanco
From a trajectory point of view it’s just awful. All momentum has ceased and in effect we’re going to go backwards in summer when key players leave. it’s a reset. But not one we’ve planned.
thomas
You know, I reckon getting to experience some of the games in person, especially the CL games, might have raised my vote. Probably some strong positive memories. Remote viewing this 9 month slow motion fender-bender of a season is like a -2 modifier. edit: didn't give score: 3. (imo only) 2 would be a relegation scrap of a season with no highlights e.g., spurs, and 1 would be actual relegation or Steve Bruce reappointed Edited May 24 by thomas
Chris L
4/10 League - embarrassing Domestic cups - not bad CL - decent until we fell apart too easy against Barca. CL probably made this a 4 rather than 3, just.

Leemond
2/10 League campaign has been absolutely woeful and felt like the beginning of the end for Howe. Mental decisions, horrendous summer, and didn't once believe we were going to do anything in the cups. Add to the fact the cunts have not only survived, but got Europe, Arsenal corrupted football and Spurs stayed up. Absolutely shit season and one I never want to think about again. Ed Vinegar
We lost 17 league games and finished far below a newly promoted Sunderland team composed of random £15m-£20m signings and championship cloggers. We never put together a single run of good form. We've spent the last 3 months arguing about whether our manager or players or "mitigating circumstances" are to blame. Being a newly promoted team is the ultimate mitigating circumstance and we finished way below one and one point better than another. Osula's goal to beat man u plus the 4-3 against Leeds were pretty good though. 2.5/

Donut
About a 2 for me. Pathetic in the league and the football has been rancid and at times almost unwatchable. Some decent CL performances but it was all ruined by one of the most embarrasing defeats I can remember.
Kimbo
2/10 It’s a 0 for the premier league, and we did well enough in the league cup and CL, though I wouldn’t say we did anything outstanding in either. The new format in the CL helped enormously.
Mikky
0/10 - a pathetic season imo - from start to finish Poor recruitment Poor performances Poor tactics There is nothing positive to come out of the season.
nufc123
Enjoyed the City win and the CL run. Not much else.
Steve Charlton
4 Just plain boring to watch I couldnt even get excited for Champs League football the way we were playing.Same predictable patterns every game,Especially down the right side it was all so frustrating to watch,Like wide open spaces to run into and Elanga & Murph were both running into a crowded midfield before the ball was played without a rb or anyone behind them? Im still baffled at that particular tactic We missed Bruno big time for a bit who was carrying us,Also Schar,Two real leaders right there.Tino never fit,Big Joe in and out aswell Wolt in that midfield 3 was tough to watch. Osula's goal of the season and the team performance in the 2-1 v Man reds was the probably the highlight of a forgettable campaign Hope Eddie can sort it out and get loads out and loads in for next season
